Craft Fair Success!

The Bonny Doon Church held its annual Holiday Arts and Craft Faire at Bonny Doon School on a cool, crisp and clear Saturday, Nov. 5.

The faire was another rousing success! Vendors selling everything from olive oil, paintings, antique collectibles, soaps and salves, jewelry, cookie dough mix and more enjoyed a steady stream of visitors from the community. Outside, the annual Chili Cook-Off was popular in the cool weather. In a surprising outcome, all five chili's were named winners because two of the hearty soups ran out before judging was complete. Fine baked goods, chicken salad sandwiches, and espresso coffee were served from the kitchen.

In addition, raffle tickets were sold for a number of gift baskets with goodies. Women of the church quilted a beautiful quilt and raffle tickets are still being sold. See it here and find out how to purchase tickets!

Georgia Randle, a member of the church, organized the fair with volunteer help from almost everyone in the church. Photos were taken by church member Ted Louv, the kitchen was organized by Teresa Mohamed and the Chili Cook-off was run by Barbara Burke.

The Craft Faire is held annually by the church as its primary fundraiser for its building fund.
